Lee Cjin Pheow
Principal Engineer, Co-Founder

Cjin Pheow designed and implemented the first backbone of the BuzzCity service and continues to play an important part in improving it. He is instrumental in constantly keeping the company's mobile infrastructure updated with the latest technologies. Like Kok Fung and Clifford, Cjin Pheow was an engineer at KRDL, where he won the Technical Innovation Award in 1995. Cjin Pheow won a public scholarship to study at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he earned both a Bachelor and Masters Degree in Computer Science.

Paul Loke
Head (Project Management)

Paul leads our project management office to provide strategic development, for mobile advertising agencies and publishers to integrate and grow their business through the BuzzCity Ad Network. He is also involved in project management planning, solution consulting, and product enhancement to extend BuzzCity's mobile services globally.

Prior to joining BuzzCity, Paul spent 15 years in the areas of Smart Card/Contactless Card Payment, Financial Services Payment, ID Security and Mobile Payment Industries. In recent years, his focus was on areas of near field communication technology, mobile commerce services and eGIRO payments in Singapore and the Asia Pacific region. Previous companies Paul has worked in include StarHub, Banking Computer Services Pte Ltd (BCS) and Gemalto. Paul holds a Bachelors Degree in Information Technology from the University of Newcastle.

Elvin Tan
Head (Associate Systems)

Elvin manages the Associate Systems team at BuzzCity where his responsibility lies in managing implementations and enhancements to the BuzzCity Advertising Network infrastructure for publishers and advertisers. He also specializes in billing solutions for BuzzCity’s advertising network to ensure that online payments for partners are processed securely and smoothly.

Elvin’s previous role at BuzzCity saw him leading the Community Platforms team, where he managed myGamma, our mobile social networking community.

Prior to joining BuzzCity, Elvin gained experience in multimedia programming, where he incorporated interaction logic into animations. While he was pursuing his Masters Degree in Information Systems from Nanyang Technology University, he continued to extend his knowledge on interface usability and human computer interaction. His qualifications include a computer science degree from Adelaide University.

Zhang Baotong
Head (Media Platforms)

Baotong designed and developed myGamma’s Developers Platform, which enables third-party developers to create networked applications in myGamma on the mobile internet. As a member of the research and development team, he has conducted research in a wide area of technologies, including WEB2.0, SEO, SNS, network security, online gaming, and has implemented many of these technologies into our applications. He is also lead designer and developer of our mobile games portal, Djuzz.

Baotong was awarded a full Scholarship from the Ministry of Education in Singapore and holds a Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University of Singapore. He is pursuing his Master of Computing Degree from the National University of Singapore.

Eric Tan
Head (Systems & Facilities)

As the Head of our systems and facilities team at BuzzCity, Eric is responsible for leading a team of capable and dedicated engineers to design and build reliable, scalable and a secure IT infrastructure for the organisation's business growth. With over 10 years of IT experience in various industries from education to web hosting, Eric is a key member of the BuzzCity IT team.

Eric holds a Bachelors Degree in Electronics Engineering from Sheffield University and also possesses various professional certifications in System Administration, Messaging, ITIL, Network and Security.

Thor Yee Yin
Head (Community & Publisher Platforms)

As the head of the Community & Publisher Platforms team at BuzzCity, Yee Yin has to continuously find ways to improve the reach and volume of users on myGamma.

In addition, she also has the important task of developing new and innovative features in our system that will help BuzzCity’s pool of publishers monetize their mobile sites.

Prior to joining BuzzCity Yee Yin worked at the supply chain field in semiconductor company Intel & STMicroelectronics.

She holds a Bachelor Of Science (HONS) in Information System Engineering from Tunku Abdul Rahman University, Malaysia
