Account Executive (Mumbai & Cape Town)

The Account Executive is responsible for liaising closely with Account Managers and Clients, contributing to the successful development of advertising campaigns. Positions are available in our Mumbai and Cape Town offices respectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review Client’s Insertion Orders to confirm accuracy.
  • Implement media campaign.
  • Proactively plan, anticipate potential issues and independently undertake steps 
to improve performance.
  • Manage the success of campaigns.
  • Provide outstanding campaign management support to the Sales Team.
  • Provide world-class customer service in responding to general and specialized 
client requests by phone and email, including billing inquiries, campaign 
activity inquiries and advertising relevancy issues.
  • Responsible for special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Business or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of Internet media or media sales experience, preferred.
  • Creative, problem solver with ability and experience understanding needs of 
customers and delivering innovative solutions.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent people skills and the ability to work with a wide range of people.
  • Strong computer skills including strong knowledge of spreadsheets (MS

Account Manager (Indonesia, Thailand & Malaysia)

The BuzzCity Mobile Ad Network continues to grow. To support this growth we are looking to fill the roles of Account Manager (Advertising Sales) in our Indonesia, Thailand and Malaysia offices respectively.

The primary function of this role is to have a thorough understanding of agency/clients’ business, marketing strategies and media objectives to ensure that online display advertising is consistently top of mind.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively contact new and existing clients and educate, propose and secure buy-in on digital marketing via telephone sales, or face-to-face meetings.
  • Identify, propose and sell programs to targeted organizations within the target markets set out by the company.
  • Develop an understanding of client’s business, products, services, customer profile, marketing and business objectives, competitors and sales.
  • Provide world-class customer service in responding to general and specialized client requests via both phone and email, including billing inquiries, campaign activity inquiries and advertising relevancy issues.
  • Be a key influencer in making digital marketing among small to medium businesses in the market.
  • Understand all new products and their roles
  • Responsible for special projects as assigned

Requirements

Business Development Manager (Singapore)

BuzzCity seeks a Business Development Manager to support initiatives across traditional and digital media industry. This position has both top line revenue growth and strategic business growth impact to our company. By using existing products and recommending innovations for development, the Business Development Manager will help create and define credible business models to diversify our business. This role will work closely with all facets of the organization, to ensure there are strategic market and product alignment, technical feasibility and critical business benefits.

Reporting to the CEO, the individual with source and analyse potential partner offerings (product, technology, business models and alignment with strategic objectives), track/apply industry trends and innovations, structure and model business deals to support Global Business Development goals.

Deals may include licensing, development, various partnership arrangements, technology agreements and investment, across platforms and media.

Job Responsibilities:

New Business Development:

  • Identify new growth opportunities / revenue streams in new markets and business models, consistent with strategic goals.
  • Build business case, develop models, find partners and incubate new business.
  • Liaise with core business units to develop these new opportunities as network wide opportunities, as appropriate.
  • Evaluate new business inquiries, evaluate offerings and facilitate integration into the core business units, where relevant

Revenue Generating - Deal Making:

  • Identify, sell, negotiate and execute revenue generating deals to support BuzzCity businesses, primarily for video and games content and mostly digital platforms.
  • Source leads, negotiate terms, close contracts and implement partnerships.
  • Help establish and achieve revenue targets for the group.

Strategy and Innovation:

  • Assist in identifying and testing new business innovations and partnerships in support of BuzzCity’s long-term, strategic goals (in connection with development of new business opportunities).
  • Help identify potential partners and opportunities for JV, Equity, and M&A, in coordination with Corporate Development
  • Evaluate and stay current on new technologies and industry trends.
  • Maintain thorough understanding of digital media business trends and broad network of contacts & relationships.
  • Proactively identify potential impact and business opportunities of new trends.
  • Attends trade shows and conferences to stay current with industry trends and innovative practices and solutions.
  • Performs other duties as required.
Job Requirements:
  1. MBA preferred
  2. 5+ years’ experience in negotiating business development deals and strategy.
  3. Digital experience required. Media or Ad Sales experience a plus.
  4. Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
  5. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and able to manage own workload.
  6. Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
  7. Able to work effectively with multiple teams, including sales, marketing, finance etc.
  8. Familiarity with digital media industry and research.

 

Support Engineer / Projects Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and provide support to Publishers & Advertisers on a global mobile advertising network
  • Initiate and develop projects suitable for the mobile advertising market.
  • Responsible for technical support service and managing enquiries from local and regional sale offices
  • Responsible for handling technical cases on ticket system and problem resolution
  • Reporting common issues / fixes and facilitating communications with Projects and support teams based in Singapore
  • Compiling regular reports as required by the Projects Team
Requirements:
  • Good team worker and confident with extensive use of phone and electronic communications
  • Ability to manage and meet the different timezone requirements for support when necessary
  • Technical knowledge or relevant experience in project management and technical support
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently, analyze and make informed decisions
  • Good communications skill and must be conversant in English, written & spoken
  • A Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology / Systems or related
  • Ability to communicate with people of different levels of technical understanding will be an added advantage

 

Software Engineer/ Senior Software Engineer

You will work with a team of highly talented Software Engineers to further the company's Competitive edge in all areas of technology, products and services. This is a Singapore-based position.

Duties:
  • Adapt and develop high-value Web, Mobile and Telecommunication applications
  • Adopt and keep abreast of Internet and Mobile technologies and infrastructure

Requirements:
  • Enjoy programming in PHP and SQL in Linux environments

Systems Engineer

You will work with a team of Engineers to improve interactions across all departments with the aim to enhance the quality of the company's IT infrastructure. You will be reporting to the Head, Systems and Facilities. This is a Singapore-based position.

  • Manage, administer, implement and secure the IT infrastructure to support growth and expansion of company

Requirements:
  • At least 1 year full-time work experience as a Linux or Unix systems administrator, Network administrator or MySQL administrator
  • Completed a bachelor degree or a local Infocomm/IT polytechnic diploma
  • Possess initiative, self-motivated, organized, and interest in wide range of systems administration domains
  • Good team player with strong analytical, communication, and proven problem solving skills
  • Able to work under pressure, responsible and able to multi-task
