Software Process Manager

You will work with a team of highly talented Software Engineers to improve interactions across all departments with the aim to enhance the quality of the company's products and services. This is a Singapore-based position.

Requirements:
  • Software Product Manager with Agile Process management experience

Software Engineer/ Senior Software Engineer

You will work with a team of highly talented Software Engineers to further the company's Competitive edge in all areas of technology, products and services. This is a Singapore-based position.

Duties:
  • Adapt and develop high-value Web, Mobile and Telecommunication applications
  • Adopt and keep abreast of Internet and Mobile technologies and infrastructure

Requirements:
  • Enjoy programming in PHP and SQL in Linux environments

Systems Engineer (Database Administration)

You will work with a team of highly talented Systems Engineers to develop and maintain the database and technology infrastructure in the organization. This is a Singapore-based position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and optimize MySQL database performance and capacity planning
  • Develop and optimize database design for new applications
  • Maintain Availability, Scalability, and Security of databases, network and server Infrastructure
  • Manage, administer and maintain the technology infrastructure to support growth and expansion of company
Requirements:
  • Min 2 years of experience as a MySQL DBA or equivalent. Certified MySQL DBA is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience administrating MySQL database design, implementation, performance tuning and capacity planning. Managing large scale database systems is a Plus.
  • Experience with Open Source / Linux Development and Production environments.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology/Systems or related.
  • Possess creative ability, integrity, self-confidence and Independent.
  • Good team player with strong analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and multi-tasking capabilities.

 

Systems Engineer

Requirements:
  • Min 2 years of experience as a Linux administrator or equivalent. Certification in Linux administration or equivalent is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience administrating Open Source (LAMP) Development and Production environments .

Account Executive

The Account Executiveis responsible for coordinating closely with Clients, Sales and Publisher Alliance Teams, contribute and develop on advertising campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise closely with clients throughout campaigns, often on an every-day basis and manage administrative, campaign work and ensuring that all campaigns complete on time and on budget.
  • Working with Account Manager on media briefs, research, formulating of advertising strategies and campaign set-up
  • Handling multiple clients at any one time, to liaise with clients to discuss, identify their advertising requirements and details of campaigns.
  • Regular reviews and evaluations of campaigns and collaborating with Account Managers in preparation of providing effective recommendations to improve campaign performance.
  • Establishes priorities and objectives; to gather, classify, categorize and readily retrieve information to meet campaign deadlines.
  • Responsible for special projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • A bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Business or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of Internet media or media sales experience, preferred.
  • Creative, problem solver with ability and experience understanding needs of customers and delivering innovative solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Clear, concise and accurate delivery of messages with organized thoughts in a logical, clear and concise manner.
  • Excellent people skills and the ability to work with a wide range of people.
  • Excellent time management and attention to details.
  • Strong computer skills including strong knowledge of spreadsheets (MS Excel), word processing (MS Word) and presentations (MS Powerpoint).

Country Manager (South Africa, Cape Town)

As Country Manager, you will be responsible for creating and delivering the sales strategy for BuzzCity’s mobile advertising products principally in South Africa and other emerging markets in Africa. You'll play a fundamental role in developing future growth, and provide vision, direction and leadership for the team

Key Responsibilities
  • Developing strategy, tactics, sales plans and profit targets.
  • Delivering sales by developing relationships with strategic partners (ad agencies, mobile developers, etc).
  • Identifying and reporting on business opportunities in target markets.
  • Acting as an ambassador and role model for the business.
  • Increasing market share in existing markets and maximise new business development opportunities.
  • Achieving targets for revenue, profitability and sales growth.
  • Provide direction for the sales & media acquisition team.
  • You'll be based in Cape Town, but also spend much of your time visiting clients, partners, other branches of BuzzCity and your sales team in the field. You may also need to attend conferences, trade fairs and exhibitions. Your job may involve travel domestic and regional travel.

    As a Country Manager, you'll be expected to have good management skills, together with appropriate qualifications.
