myGamma Mobile Portal To Distribute SBS Transit's iris NextBus service on Mobile
More commuters get access to a daily travel tool.

BuzzCity, a leading provider of global wireless community services and

agreement with SBS Transit, Singapore's public transport conglomerate.
BuzzCity, with its community portal myGamma (www.mygamma.com),
has established itself as one of the pioneers for off-portal distribution
and through this
agreement, now also distributes SBS Transit's iris NextBus service
to its members and visitors.
This service allows commuters to find out the arrival times for the
next bus by entering the bus stop number and service number. iris - an
acronym for 'Intelligent Route Information System' - offers bus arrival
times on a real time basis. Commuters now have the convenience of knowing
how many minutes away the next bus is from the bus stop.

The service can be accessed via mobile phones at sbst.mygamma.com. iris NextBus is also available on online at www.sbstransit.com.sg as well
as via GPRS and sms on mobile devices.
Plans are being laid to enhance the utility value of the service with
more features for mobile users. This will include bus departure times
from an interchange / terminal, more commonly known as the iris NextBus
for interchanges and the ever popular iris Journey Planner.
